Courtney Herring

Courtney focuses her practice on estate planning and estate and trust administration. Whether she is guiding families through establishing their first estate plan or updating existing estate plans to more accurately reflect the wishes of her clients, Courtney is dedicated to providing her clients with peace of mind by ensuring that their estate plans meet their individual needs. Courtney is also committed to helping her clients navigate the often-complex probate process. Settling an estate after the loss of a loved one can be a daunting task, and Courtney aims to provide her clients with compassionate representation and a personal approach to sensitive matters.

Courtney was admitted to practice law in 2025 but began working at Maguire Schneckenburger Legal Group in 2019. In her years with the firm, she has gained experience in all aspects of estate planning and probate matters which she has been able to apply to her own practice.

Courtney is a graduate of the University of Akron for both her undergraduate degree and law school. After finishing law school, she moved back to her hometown of Stow with her husband, a fellow Akron alum, and their young daughter. Outside of work, Courtney spends her free time outdoors with her family by going camping, dirtbike riding, kayaking, and skiing.
