Samantha focuses her practice on family law including divorce, dissolution, custody, and post-decree matters in the Domestic Relations Court. She is also an appointed Guardian ad Litem (“GAL”) in the Portage County Domestic Relations Court, where she makes recommendations as to the best interests of a child in high conflict matters.

Samantha drafts clear and practical separation agreements and parenting plans. When parties cannot agree, Samantha supports mediation with a neutral third-party mediator as an appropriate tool to encourage settlement in the right case. If mediation is not appropriate, Samantha becomes a firm, precise, and formidable advocate who makes sure her clients’ position is understood. As a GAL, she is equally direct and committed to being a strong voice for children who reside in her hometown community.

Background

Samantha graduated from Cleveland State University in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in both psychology and criminology. In 2022, she graduated from the University of Toledo College of Law with her Juris Doctor. During law school, Samantha worked at the Toledo Bar Association, the Sixth District Court of Appeals, and became a mediator for children experiencing school-related issues at Toledo City Schools. She also participated in a national Moot Court Competition and later received the Honor of Barristers for her demonstrated oral advocacy. Outside of work, Samantha enjoys traveling, hiking with her dog, managing a crystal business, and playing the piano.
