Megan focuses her practice on civil litigation matters including breach of contract, business formation and representation, real estate, and landlord/tenant law. Megan’s work has included cases before Ohio state and federal courts as well as Ohio administrative and arbitration boards. Her litigation experience runs the gamut of commercial issues, including breach of contract claims, partnership disputes, corporate governance disputes, purchase and sale agreements, collections, property damage claims, property disputes, and evictions.
Complementing her litigation work, Megan actively represents small businesses by providing advice and counsel relating to in-house needs and third-party transactions. Megan’s litigation background provides her with an astute ability to target solution-oriented practices before problems arise. Megan has developed a forward-thinking approach within her litigation and transactional work.
Megan was admitted to practice law in 2021 and is licensed in Ohio and U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Megan graduated from the University of Akron School of Law in 2021, where she received a certificate of achievement from the Supreme Court of Ohio and the Ohio Access to Justice Foundation for her exceptional pro bono service throughout law school. During her time in law school, Megan made Dean’s list, was a student ambassador, and participated in various clinics including the Ohio Expedited Pardon Project, where she successfully represented 3 individuals in their journey to receive pardons, and the Small Entrepreneur and Economic Development clinic, where she served on various nonprofit boards.
Prior to attending law school, Megan graduated from Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor of Science in English Language and Literature. Megan is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but now resides in Green Township with her husband Chris. In her free time, Megan enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her husband and their cats, Bubbles and Gus.
